The event saw civil servants, scientists, representatives of business and non-governmental organizations, as well as experts from various fields discussing the efficient use of energy, development of science and technology valleys, development of regional policy, as well as ensuring competitive conditions for businesses. Participants of the discussions raised a lot of State economy management issues, which reveals that the State can and has to look for ways to more economically and efficiently use the limited financial resources. “Competition is a reliable engine for economy, it helps to improve the welfare, create new jobs, and implement international obligations,“ said Ms Budbergytë in the discussion. “Only increasing the competitiveness of the State we may hope that we will succeed in overcoming the challenges of this period and implementing strategic goals set in the Government Programme,“ she added.
