Deputy Auditor General Viktoras Švedas resigns from office. 52-year-old Švedas who has worked as Deputy Auditor General since 2001 retired by common agreement of the parties. From 2 September Mr Švedas assumes office of Deputy Director of Audit Department 4. Viktoras Švedas who is an engineer mechanic by education has worked in the National Audit Office of Lithuania for 17 years.
