31/03/2021   External auditors: The quality management system of the National Audit Office meets the highest requirements

The quality management system of the National Audit Office complies with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System and has become a part of the organisation’s culture. This was confirmed by the ISO 9001 auditors.

In order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the institution’s processes, the National Audit Office has been following the requirements of ISO 9001 standard for six years already. This helps to adapt successfully to changing environments, respond to expectations of the institution and ensure its sustainable development.

The recent audit of the quality management system of the National Audit Office has for the third time confirmed that the system complies with the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System standard and operates successfully. The institution’s management is based on risk assessment, setting and monitoring process and performance objectives and their measurement indicators, continuous improvement and involvement of managers.

The quality management system covers all activities of the National Audit Office and is oriented towards external and internal clients, business processes and resource management. The level of maturity of business processes ensures customer expectations response, systematic process planning, execution, control and improvement, more efficient use of resources, and continuous risk assessment.
